about

INCLUDES EXTRA SPECIAL BONUS TRACK!!! The Love Positions reformed in October 2002 and recorded a version of Smudge's "Tea, Toast and Turmoil". It was recorded at Bellbird and Damien Gerard by Russell Pilling and Nic. It originally appeared under the name of the F-Holes and was released on a various artist 7" called 'Local Standard Time'. "Light Of Day" from the Billiepeebup album, "Kiss" is also one of the bonus tracks on the cd reissue and 'Underworn' from the original 7".

The Love Positions was Nic Dalton and Robyn St.Clare. They released an album (vinyl only) called Billiepeebup and a 7 inch single 'Light Of Day', which were both released in October 1990. A cd reissue of the album was released in 1997 with ten extra tracks. All songs recorded on a Tascam 244 four track onto cassettes (mostly old TDK compilation tapes taped over!) in various houses in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney between 1985 and 1989. At the time of its release Robyn was playing in the Hummingbirds and Nic in the Plunderers. The Love Positions played in Sydney about 4 times. The name "Love Positions" comes from a cheap paperback title about sexual positions for young couples!

Recorded on a Tascam 244 in 1986~88 except track 3 recorded in 2002 (Tascam 244 and Damien Gerard).
